“I am in my place”: The Prosecutor General responded to reports of resignation.

Ruslan Kravchenko denied rumors about resignation from the position of Prosecutor General

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine denied reports about the alleged resignation of Ruslan Kravchenko that have spread in social networks.

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko refuted the rumors about his resignation, confirming that he continues to fulfill his duties. The Office of the Prosecutor General stated that the information spread by certain Telegram channels about Kravchenko submitting a resignation letter is false. “I have not submitted and do not intend to submit a resignation. I am in my place and continue to perform the duties of Prosecutor General,” Kravchenko wrote.

On the morning of December 12, reports appeared about the alleged resignation of Kravchenko, who was associated with the former head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak. Recent searches by NABU and SAP in Yermak’s home in the government quarter, related to an investigation of corruption in the energy sector, only fueled such rumors. Nevertheless, Yermak noted that he fully supports the investigation.
