The Government of Ukraine allowed spending 1000 hryvnias from the “Winter Support” on food products.
From December 11, customers of Fozzy Group and “Blyzenko” chain stores can spend funds from the “Winter Support” program on food products. It is known that this option is provided to more than 1160 stores across Ukraine.
The press service of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported that under the “Winter Support” program, citizens can spend 1000 hryvnias not only on utilities, postal services, medicines, and books, but also on food products, excluding excisable goods. This option does not yet apply to online orders.
Until December 24, 2025, citizens can apply for participation in the program through the Diia app or at Ukrposhta branches, of which there are over 26,000 across Ukraine. Since the program’s launch, more than 16 million applications have been submitted, with almost 13 million online.
To receive child support, a separate application must be submitted. According to data collected through the National Cashback card, more than 3.4 billion hryvnias have already been spent, mainly on utility payments, medicines, books, and charitable contributions.
Guardians of incapacitated persons can use the program by providing the appropriate documents. If it is not possible to visit a branch, you can use mobile office services or call a postman.
