Massive Russian Attack on Ukraine: Dozens of Rockets and Hundreds of Drones
On the night of November 25, Russia launched another large-scale attack on Ukraine, using dozens of rockets and hundreds of drones, affecting several regions of the country. Some drones reached the territories of neighboring states—Moldova and Romania.
Russian forces launched 22 rockets of various types, including aeroballistic, and over 460 drones, most of which were Russian-Iranian “Shaheds,” reported President Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted that four drones crossed the borders of Moldova and Romania, having a precise crossing time.
The main target of the attack was the Kyiv region. The capital recorded numerous damages to residential buildings and critical infrastructure. The confirmed fatalities are six people, and 13 were injured, although Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported 14 affected individuals.
The Odesa region was also struck, where ports and food and other infrastructure facilities were damaged. Zelensky emphasized that such actions have no military sense. The aim of the attacks is to destroy the energy infrastructure and everything that provides a normal life.
As a result of the attacks, emergency power outages began in Kyiv, leaving part of the city without heating.
