Ukrainian special forces conducted a successful operation on the Pokrovsk direction, captured an invader and successfully evacuated the wounded soldiers of the Defense Forces.
The 3rd separate special forces regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave released footage of the special operation aimed at unblocking obstacles created by Russian military, which complicated the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian infantrymen. As a result of the decisive actions of the SWORD GROUP special unit under favorable weather conditions, it was possible to lift the blockade by killing two Russian soldiers and capturing one invader, who was provided with medical assistance and evacuated from the battlefield.
Three Ukrainian servicemen who were injured were successfully evacuated with the help of a ground robotic complex, significantly reducing the risks to the lives of other soldiers. The operation became another achievement within the framework of a large-scale campaign, which has been ongoing since August and aims to restore control over territories north of Pokrovsk. During this time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated over 430 square kilometers, according to command reports.
On November 23, the Air Assault Forces reported that the Defense Forces continued to pressure the invaders, not allowing them to consolidate in the central part of Pokrovsk. Clearing of territories is actively conducted in the area of the railway station, Pokrovsk Pedagogical College, and Soborny square, military sources confirm.
