As a result of the shelling in Zaporizhzhia, civilians were injured: during the rescue operations, a patrol officer and a rescuer were wounded.
On December 14, Russia carried out a large-scale attack on the civilians of Zaporizhzhia, which resulted in injuries among the civilian population and damage to infrastructure. Patrol officers and rescuers immediately began evacuating the victims to safe places and providing first aid.
The First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshytsky, reported that during the repeated shelling, a patrol officer and a rescuer were injured. He stated that the occupiers deliberately carry out repeated attacks when rescue services are already working on site. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration, Ivan Fedorov, confirmed that 14 people sought medical help, having received injuries of various degrees of severity.
Biloshytsky also added that a supermarket building in one of the city’s residential areas was hit, leading to power outages in parts of Zaporizhzhia. Simultaneously, on the night of December 14, Russia attacked the energy, transport, and industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region.
