The Ukrainian government is implementing automatic extensions of deferments for conscripts.
Starting from November 1, new rules for processing deferments for conscripts will take effect in Ukraine, allowing for automatic extensions of deferments and online document submissions. This decision was made by the government on October 24.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that over 600,000 Ukrainians will receive automatic extensions of their mobilization deferments. Approximately 80% of the deferments can be processed online through the “Reserv +” application, while the rest can be submitted through any Administrative Services Center (ASC).
With the new rules, the primary proof of deferment will be an electronic military registration document with a QR code, eliminating the need for paper certificates with wet stamps. This change is part of the creation of the “e-TCC” ecosystem, aimed at transitioning key services to an electronic format.
In September, the government decided to simplify the rules for military registration. Men aged 25 to 60 will be automatically registered, and teenagers are allowed to do this remotely. Amendments were also made to the law, allowing defense enterprises to reserve men sought by TCCs for 45 days. Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended until February 2026.
Experts believe that digitizing processes will significantly ease the work of territorial recruitment centers and reduce administrative burdens on citizens.
