The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine accused the Hungarian Prime Minister of complicity with Russia
The Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha, criticized Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, for his cooperation with Russia following each visit to Moscow. His words came as a comment regarding the recent Russian attack on Kyiv.
Andriy Sybiha noted that Russia launched dozens of cruise and ballistic missiles, attacking Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine on the night of November 29 after Orban’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The attack resulted in the deaths of two people, with dozens injured.
The Minister emphasized that Putin uses international politicians as “actors” in his aggressive strategy. He accuses the Russian leader of wanting to continue the war at any cost and calls on the international community to take decisive action to stop Russia.
During the meeting on November 28 in Moscow, Orban and Putin discussed gas supplies and the situation with the Russian-Ukrainian war. However, after this visit, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, again drawing criticism for Orban from other countries for his rapprochement with Moscow.
