Evacuation from Occupation: Evacuation of the Wounded Using Robotic Complexes
It was possible to evacuate a severely wounded serviceman from an occupied settlement using ground robotic complexes. The operation lasted almost six hours, during which the robotic equipment was damaged twice.
The extraordinary evacuation mission took place after 33 days from the moment of the serviceman’s severe injury. The first six evacuation attempts failed, and six robotic complexes were lost, four of which belonged to neighboring units. The seventh attempt, with a route length of 64 km, was successful. Of these, 37 km were covered with a damaged wheel.
The journey took 5 hours and 58 minutes at an average speed of 13 km/h, with a maximum speed of 29 km/h reached. As the robotic complex approached the location of the wounded, it was hit by an anti-personnel mine. During the retreat to the transfer point, they were attacked by a Russian drone, but the armored capsule protected the wounded from harm.
The first medical battalion reported that the wounded man was evacuated and provided with the necessary medical assistance. He is currently continuing treatment, and his life is not in danger.
Earlier, on September 5, it became known that four more servicemen who had been hiding from the Russians for more than three years returned from the occupation. On November 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate released a video of the operation in Pokrovsk, where special forces received reinforcements.
