Russian troops have intensified attacks on Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region: fighting and shelling continue
Intense small arms battles and drone attacks continue in Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. Russian troops conduct intensive shelling, trying to break through the Ukrainian defense.
According to the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO), who published photos from the scene, Pokrovsk has become one of the hottest spots on the frontline. Russian troops, using various types of weapons, continuously attack the city.
SSO noted that they are fulfilling assigned tasks to weaken the enemy and inflict maximum losses. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army resists the assault, particularly from the direction of Hryshyne, using the latest drone counter-measures.
Blogger and former representative of Ukraine in the Minsk Trilateral Contact Group Denys Kazansky reported on the difficulty of drone operations due to fog, which complicates enemy identification. At the same time, he released a video showing columns of the Russian army entering the city unimpeded.
The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported on November 10 that the intensity of assaults increased by almost 20%, but Ukrainian troops hold their positions despite Russian claims of capturing Pokrovsk.
| Event | Date | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Attacks on Pokrovsk | November 10 | Increase by 20% |
| Entry of RF column | During fog | Complications for drones |
