Ukraine will update its defense documents to take into account new combat experience, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced after a report from Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal. The changes will focus on adjusting priorities in accordance with modern challenges.
President Zelensky emphasized that it is time to review the main defense documents, including the defense plan. “The course of the military actions has demonstrated what should become the updated priorities,” the head of state noted. Additionally, the president announced the funding of combat brigades amounting to 4.3 billion UAH and the allocation of 8 billion UAH for the development of the Drone Line. Furthermore, a Ukrainian delegation will visit the US to discuss the war settlement plan at the end of the month.
