eID Easy raised €1.3 million in a seed round to expand its business
Estonian company eID Easy announced the successful raising of €1.3 million in a seed round of funding to expand its electronic identification and signature platform.
The funding was led by venture company DeepIE Ventures, joined by Boole Syndicate along with other investors. The total amount of investment received by eID Easy now amounts to €2.4 million. The company, which recently relocated its operations from Estonia to Ireland, is engaged in creating solutions that simplify business processes by replacing paper systems with digital ones.
The main focus of eID Easy’s activities is ensuring the reliability and security of electronic signatures based on identification. Utilizing Estonia’s international experience in digital governance, the company helps businesses legalize documents and simplify administrative processes. The company plans to expand its team in Europe and invest in the development of new products and market promotion.
It is noteworthy that eID Easy became the first company in the EU to integrate the Ukrainian service “Diia.Signature” into its products. This allows Ukrainians abroad to use the service for signing legally important documents in Europe. Thanks to this solution, eight out of ten leading global electronic signature platforms are already working with eID Easy’s solutions.
