A Polish girl died in Ternopil as a result of a Russian attack
Poland confirmed the death of its 7-year-old citizen as a result of a missile strike on Ternopil, which occurred on the night of November 19. The girl’s mother also died. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact with the Ukrainian authorities.
On November 19, Russia launched a massive attack on several Ukrainian cities, including Ternopil. The death of 31 people, six of whom were children, has been reported. Among the 94 injured are 18 children. Rescue operations at the site of the tragedy have been ongoing for more than three days, including searching for missing persons. According to the latest data, 13 people are still missing.
More than two days have passed since the attack on the western regions of Ukraine began. A total of 48 missiles and over 470 drones were launched. Apartment buildings were especially damaged, significantly increasing the number of casualties. Days of mourning have been declared in Ternopil from November 19 to 21 in memory of the deceased.
This tragedy once again underscores the importance of continuing international pressure on Russia and the need to strengthen the defense potential of countries bordering Ukraine. Poland’s position as an active ally of Ukraine demonstrates readiness to support at all levels.
