The IT company group FRACTAL announced the acquisition of the fintech company fint8, which specializes in financial consulting for small and medium businesses. Fint8 will continue to operate as an independent business unit within FRACTAL.
According to the announcement, fint8 offers a model of “outsourced CFO,” covering diagnostics, transformation of financial departments, controlling, planning, and analysis. Over the last five years, the company has successfully implemented over 90 projects in more than ten countries, including well-known brands such as Buki, Archimatika, Shelest, and Laba. In 2024, the company’s turnover reached 20 million UAH.
Although financial terms of the deal are not disclosed, it is known that the company was evaluated using a multiplier. After the completion of the deal, fint8 will become part of the consulting company Core, which is part of the FRACTAL ecosystem. Core already offers a variety of services, including HR, recruitment, research and development, as well as legal, financial, and accounting services.
Operational management of fint8 will continue to be handled by co-owner and CEO Andriy Tertyshnyk. He will work in partnership with Core’s CEO Nadia Vildyaeva. This decision underscores FRACTAL’s ambition to expand its presence in the financial technology market, as evidenced by their recent $1 million investment in the Finerd startup, focused on AI for financial management.
