Night Attack on Dnipro: Residents Injured and Infrastructure Destroyed
On the night of November 18, Dnipro faced a massive drone attack, causing train delays and numerous destructions.
Vladyslav Haivanenko, Acting Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the drone attack on the city. The consequences of the attacks include fires and damage to vital infrastructure facilities. The railway suffered particularly severe damage: two passenger trains were forced to depart with a delay of 2.5 hours. During the attack, passengers and crews were in shelter, protecting them from injuries.
As a result of the explosions, several residential buildings and public facilities were affected, and local businesses and media outlets were seriously damaged. Ukrzaliznytsia reported the destruction of premises and broken windows, necessitating the use of reserve diesel locomotives to restore movement.
A 59-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were hospitalized in a moderate condition. Unfortunately, the attack also affected editorial buildings, including damage to the buildings of Suspilne Dnipro and Ukrainian Radio Dnipro.
Deputy Prime Minister for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Oleksii Kuleba, reported significant damage to railway infrastructure, including a repair shop and station.
