Vasyl Krulko accused of involvement in corruption schemes with Denys Komarnytskyi
The brother of the “Batkivshchyna” faction’s people’s deputy, Vasyl Krulko, was a figure in the scandal surrounding luxury hotel projects in Ukraine and abroad. According to Bihus.Info, he discussed the possibility of cooperation with Denys Komarnytskyi, who is suspected of corruption schemes.
According to journalistic investigations, Vasyl Krulko, a current deputy of the Zakarpattia regional council and brother of people’s deputy Ivan Krulko, was recorded in Komarnytskyi’s office during tapes published by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as part of the “Clean City” operation. These tapes indicate the discussion of establishing a network of “Apartel” hotels in cooperation with Komarnytskyi, who is suspected of land embezzlement and has been abroad since early 2025.
Based on Bihus.Info, it was planned to form two projects: one in the village of Polyani in Zakarpattia, and another in the city of Rogaska, Slovenia. In Polyani, the construction of large foreign objects was planned, including a 15-story hotel, cottages, a wellness complex, and other attractions. The implementation of the project envisaged the creation of four companies, co-founders of which people related to Komarnytskyi were involved.
Despite the scandal around Komarnytskyi, Vasyl Krulko confirmed that he discussed the possibility of cooperation with him but noted that he had no control over the project. On his part, Ivan Krulko stated that he is not in any way related to the “Apartel” network and sees no problems in his brother’s cooperation with Komarnytskyi. It is considered that cooperation with the “Apartel” company continues, although the final decision has not yet been made.
