Three killed in drone attack in Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv region, three people were killed and another injured as a result of a Russian drone attack. The incident occurred when a group of civilians was heading to collect pensions and groceries.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, early in the morning on November 13, a group of people set out on three homemade motorblocks to the village of Borove to receive pensions and humanitarian aid. Near the village of Novoplatonivka in the Izium district, one of the motorblocks was attacked by a Russian FPV drone. Two women died at the scene, and a man died from his injuries during transportation to the hospital. Another person survived the attack, sustaining injuries.
Law enforcement agencies are actively gathering evidence and establishing the circumstances of this criminal attack on civilians. An investigation has been launched, classified as a war crime that led to tragic consequences.
This incident is part of a broader series of attacks on civilians in the region. Notably, on October 23, it was reported that Russian military personnel shot civilians who were hiding in cellars near Bakhmut. One woman managed to survive and testify. Additionally, on November 6, for the first time in history, a Russian occupier was sentenced to life imprisonment for the shooting of a captured Ukrainian serviceman.
