Imports in Ukraine in the first ten months of 2025 more than double exports
According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, in January-October 2025, imports to the country amounted to 67.8 billion dollars, while export volumes were only 33.2 billion dollars.
The total trade turnover of Ukraine for the mentioned period reached 101 billion dollars. From these data, it becomes apparent that imports prevail over exports. Ukraine’s export is mostly represented by food products (18.2 billion dollars), metals (3.9 billion dollars), and machinery (3.1 billion dollars).
An important aspect is the opening of 17 new markets for agricultural products, allowing Ukraine to expand the geography of exports to 381 trade directions.
