Successful actions of SOF disrupted the logistics of Russian troops in Luhansk region
A special operation by Ukrainian forces in temporarily occupied Luhansk region disrupted the logistics of Russian troops and led to a fuel shortage.
On the night of November 3rd, the fighters of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine conducted successful attacks in the Luhansk region. Near the city of Dolzhansk, the unloading site for fuel and lubricants was targeted, and near the village of Rozkishne, a logistical support depot of the Russians was destroyed. As a result of these actions, a fuel shortage occurred, and the logistics of the Russian military grouping “Center” were disrupted. According to the military, “the best won battle is the one the enemy could not arrive to.”
Operations in Luhansk are part of a broader strategy to undermine the occupation infrastructure, which includes recent strikes on the Russian port in Tuapse and the Saratov Refinery. On November 2nd, the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the port in Tuapse, damaging a tanker and impairing loading infrastructure. Later, the General Staff reported an attack on the oil refinery in Saratov.
The actions of Ukrainian forces not only create short-term disruptions in the supply of strategic resources to the occupying forces but also reveal vulnerabilities in the logistics chains of Russian troops. Experts note that such attacks are capable of reducing the combat readiness of enemy units and significantly impacting the activities of occupying forces in the region.
