President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the current plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine includes 20 points. The joint peace plan removed those points that did not reflect Ukraine’s interests, he said during a meeting with journalists.

Initially, the document contained 28 points, but now there are only 20, and openly non-pro-Ukrainian positions have disappeared. Regarding the restoration of affected regions, Zelensky emphasized the importance of the European perspective and Europe’s participation in the discussion processes. This issue was dedicated to a separate part of today’s conversations with state leaders. Previously, in December, he mentioned differences in opinions among negotiation participants regarding the situation in Donbas. This confirms that the process of reaching consensus is ongoing and requires caution and a balanced approach.
It is important to note that former US President Donald Trump expressed disappointment that Zelensky did not familiarize himself with the peace proposal he suggested.
