In the Tuapse area on the Black Sea, a maritime drone attack occurred. The Russian authorities reported neutralizing the vessels, but sources indicate possible infrastructure damage.
The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region announced the neutralization of four unmanned vessels in the Tuapse zone. According to the report, one of the vessels exploded near the shore, damaging buildings and infrastructure. At the same time, the Telegram channel ASTRA reports potential damage to one of the piers. Local residents who heard the explosions experienced nearly an eight-hour drone hazard regime.
The head of the Tuapse municipal district, Sergey Boyko, announced the cancellation of the threat at 8:00 Moscow time. His initial message was edited to remove information about the unmanned vessels. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 71 drones were shot down, seven of which were over the Black Sea.
It is worth noting that Ukraine actively uses GUR Magura maritime drones and SBU Sea baby unmanned vessels for attacks on Russian ships. In the past two years, the SBU has struck 11 vessels this way, significantly improving the technical characteristics of its drones, increasing their payload and range.
