In Ternopil, a conscript fell from the fifth floor while escaping from the Territorial Center of Recruitment.

In Ternopil, a conscript, who was in a state of alcohol intoxication, tried to escape from the Territorial Center of Recruitment but fell from the fifth floor. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

The incident occurred on the night of November 8. The conscript was brought to the center at about 00:15 without deferment and protection, and also in a state of alcohol intoxication. Due to his condition, which made it impossible to hold him administratively liable, he was placed in a rest room on the fifth floor. Around 03:50, he attempted to escape by removing the window double glazing and using his clothes as a rope to descend. Unfortunately, he fell on the roof of the first-floor canteen.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and the man was hospitalized to the intensive care unit of Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital. His condition is now stable. Law enforcement officers have started an investigation into the incident.

This case was the third alarming incident in the recruitment center recently: on October 24, a man died in Kyiv, whose death circumstances are still under investigation, and on October 30, there was a shooting in Kremenchuk, resulting in two soldiers being wounded.
