Ukrainian military managed to cut off the communications of Russian forces in Kupiansk, while in Vovchansk there is a slow increase in the activity of occupiers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain their positions despite the pressure. This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group.
In Kupiansk, the occupiers are trying to advance, but their communications are currently cut off by Ukrainian forces using drones. Only small groups of Russian soldiers remain in the city, cut off from supplies. According to Tregubov, about 40 people who continue to use the civilian population as cover operate in the north of the city, although they are constantly being attempted to be neutralized.
In his commentary, Tregubov highlighted the irony in the statements of the Russian leadership, emphasizing their inconsistency with the real situation. Russian military reports on imaginary successes in the Kupiansk hub, although the area physically cannot accommodate the declared number of units.
The situation in Vovchansk is characterized by the destruction of the city and the slow advancement of the Russians. However, Ukrainian positions remain unwavering despite the pressure from the invaders. Kremlin propaganda, however, continues to claim alleged control over these territories, contrary to the actual picture, repeatedly confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
