Explosions in Taganrog: Russia again subjected to drone attack

During the night of November 28, drones attacked several regions of Russia, causing explosions in Saratov and Taganrog, near a military airfield that had been attacked before.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 136 drones were shot down and intercepted during the night. The Governor of Saratov Oblast, Roman Busargin, reported a threat from drones but did not specify information regarding the consequences. In Taganrog, explosions occurred in the area of the military airfield, which had been hit by drones a few days earlier, damaging a Russian aircraft.

Local residents in their videos reported fires at several addresses. The Governor of Rostov Oblast, Yury Slyusar, claimed drones were shot down in various areas of the region but reported damage to vehicles and a residential building. Also, video fragments testify to another drone strike in the 1.3 km radius from the military object.

The city of Moscow was also attacked by drones. The Mayor of the capital, Sergey Sobyanin, announced the destruction of several drones and the fall of their debris. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, most drones were intercepted in Rostov Oblast (46) and other regions, including temporarily occupied Crimea and over the Black Sea.

Such increasing drone attacks are causing concern in Russian government structures. Recently, Ukraine has employed its own high-tech weaponry, including Neptune cruise missiles and Bars strike drones. Various objects, including military and infrastructural complexes in Russia, have come under attack.
