A potential meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is unlikely to become a “new Yalta.” Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence and a non-staff adviser to the head of the Office of the President, expressed this view in an interview with LIGA.net.
Yusov described a possible meeting of the three leaders as a challenge, but denied that it could replicate the format of the Yalta Conference.
At the same time, this concerns only potential talks. No information has been provided on the date, location, format, initiator or confirmed agenda of a possible meeting between Trump, Xi Jinping and Putin.
