Nations League format
Ukraine competes in the second tier of the Nations League, League B. Group winners will earn promotion to League A, while second-placed teams will play promotion-relegation matches against the two worst third-placed teams and the best fourth-placed teams in the top division.
Teams that finish third in League B will remain in the division next season. Teams that finish bottom will play relegation playoffs to remain in the second tier against teams that finish second in League C.
The new playoff format was introduced as the Nations League will switch to a three-division system from next season instead of four. The Nations League playoffs this season are scheduled for March 2027.
