Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she believes Russian dictator Vladimir Putin may have compromising material on U.S. President Donald Trump. She also called Trump “Putin’s willing puppet.”
Clinton made the remarks on the On with Kara Swisher podcast. She provided no evidence of the possible compromising material.
“I continue to believe that Putin has something on Trump. I continue to believe that he is holding onto photographs, videos — whatever it is”

Clinton’s views on Trump’s policy toward Russia
Clinton believes that Putin has no intention of stopping at Ukraine. According to her, Trump may view the world as a collection of spheres of influence for major powers.
“I think Trump has this idea that he wants to divide up the world. He gets the Western Hemisphere, Putin gets Russia and Europe, and Xi Jinping gets the rest of the world”

The former secretary of state also confirmed that, as during the 2026 presidential election campaign, she still considers Trump to be Putin’s “puppet.”
“Yes, a puppet. He is Putin’s willing puppet, who helps Putin”

In Clinton’s view, Trump’s policy confirms her earlier warnings: the U.S. president places his relationship with the Russian leader above the interests of American democracy and national security.
Statement on the Epstein case files
Clinton recalled that Trump had strongly opposed the release of materials in the Jeffrey Epstein case. She suggested that the full publication of the documents could cause a major public outcry.
“When we finally see all the Epstein files, I think even people who supported Trump will be shocked by what they show about Trump”

Against the backdrop of renewed tensions in relations with the United States, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Trump administration is trying to push Ukraine into capitulation. According to Zelenskyy, if the United States sides with Russia, it would be a “historic mistake,” and Ukraine would not survive.
At the same time, Washington rejects accusations of supporting Russia in its war against Ukraine.
